With high energy, I currently serve as the lead nutritionist for New Delhi and NCR Schools. Prior to this, I have completed several unique and high-level internships that have helped shape my broad perspective and expertise in sports nutrition. In 1998, I completed an internship at RML Hospital, New Delhi. In 1999, I was appointed as the Nutritionist Staffer for Personal Point. In 2011, I became the Chief Dietician at VLCC Training Center. In 2004, I started my clinic, and since then, I have been engaged in clinical training and planning at the highly competitive dietetic charts at Faridabad Medical Center. I earned my BSc. and post-graduation degree in Health & Nutrition Science in 1998, graduating from Delhi University. Active in several professional organizations, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, meditation, spreading Sahaj Yoga, and staying active by helping needy and underprivileged people through weight training. I love getting creative in the kitchen and exploring new dishes during my travels. I reside in Rajasthan and North India, specifically in the Delhi/NCR City area, with my parents and two kids, a boy and a girl.

There is an growing consciousness among health proffesionals that we should all aim to adopt more of a plant based diet centered on whole wheat, beans fruit vegetables and nuts/seeds, while limiting animal products and proccessed food.
The research comparing egg whites to whole eggs consantly shows that egg whites are preffered options as their consumption does not raise LDL ( bad cholesterol) levels which is a risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. Although low carbs diet lead to rapid, short term weight loss( which is mostly water weight), the research shows that they are no better than other weight loss diet, over the long term and most people following a low carb diet gain the weight back over the time.
Taking a vitamin C supplement is unlikely to prevent a cold. It may however make a cold less severe and may shorten its duration. Vitamin C is an essential nutrient in the human diet, but instead of supplements we should choose vitamin C rich foods such as peppers, citrus fruits, dark leafy greens.
